IELTS - General Training - Apologies Writing Task 1

Your Neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/flat.

Write a letter to your neighbors. In your letter,

  • explain the reasons for the notice.
  • apologies
  • describe what action you will take

Answer

Dear Mr & Mrs. Stark,

I hope you are doing great. I am writing this letter in response to your complaint letter that you send me yesterday about noise from my flat. I honestly apologize for the inconvenience and humbly ask for your forgiveness.

I shifted my flat with my husband two days ago. During the arrangement of luggage, We had to relocate all furniture. We were used some heavy machinery to complete the endeavor. I think that was the reason, you have caught all these loud reverberations. I would like to add more than we were completed all arrangements.

Since you have suffered due to high-level noise, I sincerely apologize for this. Moreover, I will be more careful regarding this in the future. I hope after this incident, we will try to understand each other and will become good neighbors also.

Yours Sincerely,
Mrs. Potts.
